Truth or Nonsense?
Some people reaching this site may say "What a load of rubbish!!" "It's all unproven nonsense!" or even "You'll go to hell for this sacrilege!" Lol

The Religious Argument
Some people will not accept anything that is outside of their religious beliefs or dogma, and I include Atheism here. Well, if this is the case I probably cannot help them. The power of the dogma is the worst enemy of the truth because it says: "I am right and you are wrong!", leaving no room for manoeuvre.
Some people may consider my views to be actually 'evil'. But then some Christians may consider the views of Muslims evil and vice versa. So I make no apologies.

The Atheistic Argument
There are many people who have got so fed up with religion that they are convinced that any talk of this sort is rubbish. I actually now sympathise to a great extent with this view. My argument to them is that what I believe in is sufficiently different to traditional organised religion that it shouldn't come under that heading. But most atheists would probably maintain that there is not only no god but also nothing beyond life as we know it. Humanists also come within this category. For this train of thought, see the 'Scientific' Argument.

The Scientific Argument
Some people will not accept anything unless it can be proven, usually by science. Perhaps the explanations below will help. I have an enquring, discerning and quite a scientific and sceptical mind, but I may fall short on the actual, pure scientific argument. However it is also the case that generally accepted science has not yet satisfactorily explained so-called supernatural phenomena that so many people have experienced. Quantum mechanics/physics is probably heading in that direction, but it asks as many questions as it answers and is still considered by many to be on the fringe of science, so is not wholly accepted.

Quantum mechanics is hard enough for scientists to understand, let alone the 'ordinary' person. However, throughout history, man has noticed something and has had to wait for science or knowlegde to explain it. Many Quantum physicists are pointing to the possibility of things like consciousness existing independant of physical life or the power of thoughts in manipulating the universe, so I say the important thing is not to close one's mind to possibilities, even if you can't accept them yet. Keep an open mind.

As I understand it, in science you first notice a phenomenon, then you try to develop a theory to explain it. Then you test that theory and if the theory holds up, you say that it is probably the explanation - that is until a better theory can replace it or until the theory is proved wrong. That's basically what I'm saying here. And of course there will always be fraudsters in any field, but, for example, fake banknotes don't prove that real money doesn't exist, no matter how many are found, so don't let those people put you off the genuine articles.
What I Know v. What I Believe
I think it would be helpful - for me as well as you - to separate for a moment what I know from what I believe.

I absolutely know that: my son lives on in spirit, and is happy - very happy and at peace where he is. (And not only him, but my parents also.) At peace, but actually very busy - it's not the boring 'eternal rest' that is often quoted!! (Neither are they sleeping until some far-off final 'day of judgement'.) How do I know this? Because countless times I have had messages from him through people - call them mediums if you like - who could not know whether what they were saying was true or sometimes even if it made any sense. These messages continue, and not just from 'professional' mediums, but from people who are a little more developed or naturally gifted in their mediumistic skills than me, who are learning to connect with people in spirit. People who have no interest in deception or monetry gain - just friends, colleagues and acquaintances.
But, can there be another explanation? Could these people be reading my thoughts and hopes and relaying them? Well, for a start, mind reading or telepathy has not been accepted by science any more than life after death, and it is not scientific to explain away one unproven theory with another one. Secondly, since many of these messages have been received remotely via Zoom - even from half way around the globe - mind reading using some sort of magnetic thought waves is ruled out.
We have also witnessed mediums giving accurate information and messages from our son to some of his friends, on a Zoom call. The chances of this being fake as well are, basically, zilch!

Therefore: since my son was not a signed-up 'born-again-Christian',
* what fundamentalist Christians say about needing to believe 'on' Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour in order to avoid going to hell cannot be true.

Therefore: since my son's current life doesn't correlate to what the Bible or traditional Christianity states about what happens after death, sumink's upwivit!

And therefore: not every word of the Bible is true or 'The Word of God'. And once you look at the Bible with these new eyes, you start to see more and more that doesn't make sense, especially if you have had the experience that we have. The only problem is, where do you draw the line?! (see the Bible topic on my Religion page.)

What I believe, as a consequence of this knowledge:
Because of the above, I have, little by little, been able to look outside of my former 'religious box' and take on board all the things you will read on this website. And there is more that I am still pondering over and assimilating, for this journey is in fact everlasting for all of us. Literally.
